SHOOTING & GOALKEEPING CLINIC! 1 DAY ONLY!

ONLY 45 TOTAL SPOTS AVAILABLE!

On Saturday, May 22nd, we are pleased to introduce the return of Elite Polo's Shooting & Goalie Clinic.  For six hours, a small group of only thirty players will have the opportunity to work on shooting in the most comprehensive manner.  Under the direction of NCAA great Marko Pintaric and his USC staff, our campers will work on every aspect of shooting in a personal, intimate setting.  This shooting clinic will provide each and every camper with the information and instruction they require to raise their game.

A small group of only 15 goalies will be provided the opportunity to work one-on-one with UCLA All-Time Saves Leader, Chay Lapin.  A 4-Time All-American and 4-Time All-Conference selection at UCLA, Chay will provide all goalies with a personlized day of instruction to take their game to the next level.

MARKO PINTARIC

HEAD ASST. COACH, USC TROJANS

5-TIME NCAA CHAMPION

1998 NCAA PLAYER OF THE YEAR

2-TIME NCAA ALL-AMERICAN

Former USC All-American Marko Pintaric is in his ninth season as head assistant coach of both the men's and women's water polo teams at USC.

Pintaric was a two-year starter for the Trojans in 1997 and 1998. He recorded 44 goals during the Trojans' 1998 national championship season and earned National Player of the Year and first team All-America honors. He also earned second team All-America honors in 1997. Pintaric was named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team both years. He transferred to USC from the University of Zagreb in Croatia, where he was a member of the Croatian Junior National Team (1989-94).

Along with his current coaching experience, Pintaric served as the varsity coach at Loyola High in Los Angeles during the 1999-2000 school year. He continues to play for the New York Athletic Club, where he was a member of the 2001 summer national championship team and four consecutive winter national championship teams (1999-2002).

Pintaric graduated from USC in 2000 with a degree in communications and earned his master's degree in 2003 in communications management.

CHAY LAPIN

ALL-TIME SAVES LEADER,  UCLA BRUINS

4-TIME ALL-AMERICAN

4-TIME MPSF ALL-CONFERENCE SELECTION

2009 NCAA ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM SELECTION

2008 US OLYMPIC TRAINING TEAM MEMBER

Chay Lapin has just completed a career at UCLA that will forever cement his place as one of the Bruin greats.  Lapin was prolific in the cage in his four-year career as he blocked an astounding 719 shots, placing him 1st all-time in the UCLA record books, in front of such former greats as two-time US Olympian Brandon Brooks and two-time NCAA Player of the Year Matt Swanson.  For his efforts this past fall, Chay was named 2nd Team All-America by the ACWPC.  This was Chay's fourth All-America selection in as many years at UCLA.  2009 also saw Lapin garner a spot on the NCAA All-Tournament Team following the Bruins appearance in the NCAA Finals this past December.

Lapin has blocked no less than 198 shots in each of the last three seasons.  This past fall, Chay blocked 205 shots, just one shy of his career best obtained in his junior campaign.  In November, Chay put on a goalkeeping display not seen in years: in a 9-3 victory over Long Beach State, Lapin blocked a career-best 21 shots, single-handedly crippling the 49er offense and leading the Bruins to victory.

A member of the US Men's National Training Team, Chay spent the spring and summer of 2008 working out with the eventual silver medal team prior to the Olympic Games in Beijing, China.  Lapin spent the summers of 2005 and 2006 with the US Junior National Team traveling to Europe.  Chay's work in 2006 earned him Goalkeeper of the Memorial Tournament in Italy.
